Blank Space - The Game Jam Haze

Hi everyone! 🐦‍⬛ 

This post was a long time coming, as this game is the cleaned up version of my team's submission to SUTD Mindsport's Game Jam... in 2024 💀 The theme for this particular game jam was 'Space', and so my team had a lot of fun cramming all the different interpretations of that word into our gameplay, from the obvious space theme / title to the input space key, and even negative space?!

Our game, Blank Space, is a point-and-click exploration game, where you play as a regular human who has been abducted by aliens to do the most mundane job of all... administrative work! Hunt, capture and log whatever creatures you find (first discoveries get naming rights, after all), and wonder what awaits you at the end of the journey...
